Madeline is a registered psychologist, neuropsychology registrar, and PhD candidate in Clinical Neuropsychology. She is passionate about helping people better understand how their minds work and supporting them to live well alongside cognitive, neurological, and neurodevelopmental differences.

Her clinical work spans neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, and psychological support. She works with individuals exploring ADHD and autism, people adjusting to changes following brain injury or neurological illness, and older adults experiencing memory or thinking concerns.

Madeline’s approach is grounded in the belief that no two minds are alike. She takes a neuro-affirming, collaborative, and evidence-based approach, recognising that cognitive strengths and challenges exist within the broader context of a person’s history, relationships, values, and goals.

Her assessments are comprehensive and thoughtful, considering multiple possible explanations and focusing on practical recommendations that make sense in everyday life.
A key part of her work involves helping people translate insight into action. Beyond assessment, she provides cognitive strategy training to support executive functioning, memory, attention, fatigue management, and return to work or study. She also works with families and carers to develop practical approaches that support quality of life.

Madeline provides psychological support using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Schema Therapy, adapting her approach to fit each person’s goals and the way they think.
Her research has been published in the areas of dementia risk and prevention, cognitive health, LGBTIQA+ well-being and relationships, and parent and child mental health. Her work exploring the connections between cardiovascular health and dementia risk has been featured across television and radio media.

She has experience working across hospital, community, research, and private practice settings, bringing clinical rigour, curiosity, and warmth to her work.
