Jacqui is a Specialised Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science Human Movement and Graduate Diploma of Exercise Rehabilitation in Ballarat, class 2005.
Jacqui has worked in the hospital setting early in her career for 6 years treating road trauma patients, university lecturing, always been involved in sport herself at a high level and worked in football clubs for 17 years before retiring this role when she had her first child in 2019.
Jacqui also worked in occupational rehabilitation for 6 years, corporate health and wellbeing, private practice, and now runs her own business, Dizzy hEDS & Co. focusing on her passion of complex invisible illnesses such as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) and the comorbidities of dysautonomia (POTS/OI), MCAS, ME/CFS, Long COVID, Long COVID POTS, and pain syndromes.
Jacqui also consults with and runs a private Facebook Group for people living with invisible illnesses wanting to start a family, and support for pregnancy and
post- partum care.
Jacqui presented at the Ehlers Danlos Society’s 2022 Arizona Conference and Female Health Summit in 2026 the on practical strategies for pregnancy and
post-partum care.
She also presented at the 2023 EDS Society Dublin Conference on ‘Finding Comfort in the School & Workplace when living with EDS & HSD’.
Jacqui has an enormous passion in helping people who are and have experienced a similar journey to her own when navigating these invisible illnesses. Jacqui has lived with and manages her own CFS, IST, POTS, hEDS, MCAS and chronic pain since 2007. She is a dedicated holistic, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed clinician who sees patients from 14 years of age. She is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. Jacqui is also the Co-Lead of a CORE Network of Excellence, Australian EDS & HSD Network’, certified by the Ehlers Danlos Society.
