I am a clinical psychologist who is passionate about creating a safe space for people to explore their strengths and challenges to work toward personal goals. I believe in a client led and collaborative approach.
I have worked most recently as a psychologist in university settings with a wide range of ages, presenting difficulties and diverse cultural backgrounds. Previously, I have also worked in welfare roles in youth justice and child protection settings. I have an interest in working with culturally diverse individuals to better understand their mental health. I particularly enjoy working with late adolescents and young adults.
I use a strengths-based framework and evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness. I place importance in working with people at a pace they are comfortable with.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and my dogs. I enjoy a good board game, food, and good K-drama.
